Basic classification of floor heating water collector and separator:

In terms of function and structure, water collectors and separators are divided into three types: basic type, standard type and functional type. Basic type: it is composed of water distribution main pipe and water collection main pipe. A ball valve is installed on each branch opening of the diversity main pipe, and a manual exhaust valve is installed on the diversity main pipe. The basic water separator does not have the function of flow regulation.

Standard type: the structure of the standard type water collector is the same as that of the basic type, except that the ball valve on each main pipe is replaced by the flow regulating valve. Replace the manual exhaust valve on the two main pipes with the automatic exhaust valve. The standard water collector can precisely adjust the flow of each loop, and even the flow regulation of the luxury standard water collector can realize artificial intelligence regulation.

Functional type: in addition to all the functions of the standard type water collector, the functional water collector also has the functions of temperature and pressure display, automatic flow regulation, automatic water mixing and heat exchange, thermal energy measurement, automatic temperature control in indoor zones, wireless and remote control. In order to prevent corrosion, Water collectors and separators are generally made of corrosion-resistant metal or synthetic materials.

From the aspects of design performance, it can be divided into Korean version and European version. Due to different usage habits and design concepts, Korean floor heating is usually relatively simple. In addition, Korean floor heating has low requirements for room temperature control and time division work. Therefore, its water separator does not need to bear too many functional requirements, and the product is relatively simple.
